Following a first-class BA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and a PhD from Imperial College London, Kiran has added 15+ years of experience at world-leading Life Science and Medtech organisations, across clinical and scientific research, business development and consulting. She has a passion for health innovation, and believes in the empowerment of patients to take control of their own health.

Steve has 15+ years of commercial and marketing experience in the digital and B2C technology sectors at global scale, including driving commercial growth from zero to global for venture-backed technology companies. He has a passion for projects that can affect true consumer behaviour changes at scale. He holds a first-class BA with distinction from Oxford University and speaks fluent German, and French.

Board Member - Peter Cowley

Peter is a Cambridge university technology graduate who has founded and ran over a dozen businesses in technology and property. He has built up a portfolio of over 70 angel investments with 8 good exits and several failures. He was chair of the Cambridge Angels, was UK Angel of the Year 2014 and is President of the European trade body for angel investing (EBAN). He has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs and is on the board of ten startups.

computer vision advisor - professor graham finlayson

Graham Finlayson is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of East Anglia (UEA) where he leads the Colour & Imaging Lab. Professor Finlayson is interested in ‘computing how we see’ and his research spans computer science (algorithms), engineering (embedded systems) and psychophysics (visual perception). He has published over 300  refereed journal and conference papers and has 30+ patents.  Significantly, many of Graham’s patents are implemented and used in commercial products including photo processing software, dedicated image processing hardware (ASICs) and in embedded camera software.

CLINICAL ADVISOR - Dr Graham hitman

(Blizard Institute, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL). Professor of Molecular Medicine and Diabetes, and former Director of the Blizard Institute (2014-2017) and Editor in Chief of Diabetic Medicine (2009-2015). He holds an honorary contract with Barts NHS Health Trust as a consultant Diabetologist and leads the clinical diabetes research network (formerly a NIHR DLRN). His main research interests are the genomics of diabetes, the prevention of diabetes and its complications and clinical decision theory. He currently has 335 peer reviewed publications listed in PubMed, 50,405 citations and an h-index of 81.

CLINICAL ADVISOR - Dr Neil Paul

Neil has been a full time GP Partner at SandbachGPs in Sandbach, Cheshire, since August 2000. He is nationally known for his DigitalHealth.net column that discuss the highs and lows of IT in primary care and as a speaker and presenter and author in trade magazines such as GP, Medeconomics and EMIS User on topics including IT, Data Quality, QOF, business efficiency and primary care finances.  Neil also writes his own blog https://www.drneilpaul.blog/ promoting innovation in primary care. Neil’s main clinical interests are Cardiovascular medicine, Diabetes, Gastroenterology and Rheumatology. Neil is the co-Founder of Howbeck Healthcare Ltd, a private company formed in 2014 to support GP Practices, Federations and Primary Care Networks.
